Driver and Warehouse Assistant – Telford Branch
Required to cover period of absence.
Pay – £11.44 per hour
Hours worked between:
- Monday to Friday 7.30am – 5.00pm
- Saturday 8.00am – 12.00noon
Main requirements of job:
- Driving Licence
- Good customer service skills
- Knowledge of bathroom products preferred but not essential
- Excellent communication skills
- Self-motivated, ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
Main purpose of job:
To ensure that the branch delivers excellent customer service by:
- providing an effective delivery service for the business
- serving customers efficiently and politely
- assisting in general warehouse duties as required
Main tasks of the job:
- Loading and unloading of vehicles
- Delivery of plumbing and heating products to customers
- Moving stock both manually and by the safe operation of mechanical handling equipment
- Order picking for deliveries
- Putting stock away whilst ensuring stock rotation
- Serving customers quickly and efficiently
